តើអ្នកនឹងពណ៌នាអំពីបទពិសោធន៍របស់អ្នកនៅសាលា UWC ដែលអ្នកបានទៅរៀនយ៉ាងដូចម្តេចដែរ?

Question 1: 

How would you describe your experience at the UWC school you attended?

ខ្ញុំក្លាយជាមនុស្សម្នាក់ដែលឯករាជ្យ ក្រោយពេលដែលខ្ញុំបានទៅដល់សាលាRCN។ ខ្ញុំត្រូវធ្វើអ្វីៗគ្រប់យ៉ាងដោយខ្លួនឯងដើម្បីការរស់នៅ។ វាមិនស្រួលប៉ុន្មានទេ ដែលកម្រិតភាសាអង់គ្លេសខ្ញុំទាប ហើយរៀននៅក្នុងសាលាលំដាប់អន្តរជាតិបែបនេះ។ រាល់ថ្នាក់ គឺលំបាក់សម្រាប់ខ្ញុំ វាជាលទ្ធផលដែលខ្ញុំជ្រើសរើស មុខវិជ្ជាខុស។ ប៉ុន្តែ មនុស្សគ្រប់គ្នាដែលនៅក្បែរខ្ញុំតែងតែជួយគ្រប់ពេល។ វាជាកន្លែងមួយដែល លត់ដំខ្ញុំឲ្យក្លាយជាមនុស្សម្នាក់ដូចសព្វថ្ងៃ! ខ្ញុំស្តាយណាស់ ដោយសារតែភាសាអង់គ្លេសខ្ញុំខ្សោយកាលនោះ កុំអីខ្ញុំអាចមានអនុស្សាវរីយ៍ល្អៗច្រើនណាស់!

I became so independent after my arrival at the UWCRCN. I had to do everything on my own in order to survive. It was not easy having bad English at an international school. Classes were very hard for me to understand, this was because of my subject’s selections. I got help from all over the places, from teachers to my school adviser and my friends. It is a place where I found myself to be who I am today. Again, it could have been much better if my English were good during my time in school.

តើអ្នកបានរៀនអ្វីខ្លះអំពីខ្លួនអ្នក និងពិភពលោកជុំវិញអ្នកអំឡុងពេល និងក្រោយ UWC?

Question 2: 

What did you learn about yourself and the world around you during and after UWC?

ខ្ញុំរស់នៅដោយភ្ជាប់ជាមួយទស្សនៈរបស់លោក សែលប៊ី ដេវីស “រៀន, រក, ផ្តល់” ។ ខ្ញុំតែងតែគិតថា ខ្ញុំបានឈ្នះសំបុត្រមាសមួយសន្លឹកដែលផ្តល់អនាគតឲ្យខ្ញុំមកដល់ថ្ងៃនេះ! ខ្ញុំធ្វើគ្រប់យ៉ាង ក្រៅពីការងារ រកស៊ីចិញ្ចឹមជីវិត គឺផ្តល់អ្វីដែលខ្ញុំមានទៅដល់សង្គមយើងវិញ។ ពិភពលោកដើរទៅមុខលឿនលើសពីការគិតទុក ហើយប្រទេសយើង មានការរីកចំរើនយ៉ាងច្រើនខ្លាំងក្លារ ក្នុងរយៈពេល ៧ ឆ្នាំដែលខ្ញុំនៅក្រៅប្រទេស។ សុភមង្គលខ្ញុំគឺស្ថិតនៅលើ ការផ្តល់ និងចែករំលែកអ្វីដែលខ្ញុំបានរៀន នៅខាងក្រៅ ទៅដល់បងប្អូនជនរួមជាតិយើងនៅកម្ពុជា។ ខ្ញុំជឿថា ដ៏រាបណាអ្នកនៅផ្តល់ទៅអ្នកដទៃ ថ្ងៃក្រោយ បុណ្យនឹងត្រលប់មកអ្នកវិញ។

I found myself connected to this philosophy of Shelby Davis “Learn, Earn, Return”. The golden ticket I got helped me to where I am today. Having anything I always wished for. I am doing my best to give back as much as I can, in any activity possible. The world is moving forward, faster than I ever expected. Especially, our country Cambodia has improved so much since I left and returned 7 years after. I found my happiness in giving and sharing whatever I have learned out there to our people here. I am still believing this “The more you give, the more you will gain”.

Question 3: 

Why should young Cambodians apply for the UWC Scholarships?

UWC គឺជាកន្លែងមួយដែលក្មេងទូទៅចាត់ទុកវាដូចជា សាលារៀននៅក្នុង Harry Potter អញ្ចឹង! ជាសាលាមួយដែលមានសិស្សរាប់រយនាក់ មកពីគ្រប់កន្លែងនៅក្នុងពិភពលោក មករៀននៅក្នុងថ្នាក់តែមួយ។ អ្នកនឹងស្គាល់ខ្លួនឯង ស្វែងយល់ពីខ្លួនឯងកាន់តែច្បាស់ក្រោយអ្នកបានរៀនចប់នៅ UWC។ អ្នកមិនគួរ ដាក់ពាក្យ ដោយសារតែអ្នកចង់រៀននៅសាលាល្អ ឬ ដោយសារមុខមាត់អ្វីទេ! តែអ្នកត្រូវតែសាកល្បង ដាក់ពាក្យ បើអ្នកចង់ ស្គាល់រសជាតិជីវិតបែបផ្សងព្រេង ហើយ ផ្សព្វផ្សាយ សន្តិភាព ដោយប្រើការអប់រំ។

UWC is a place where most students fantasized about it as a school of Harry Potter. A place where hundreds of young souls can share and learn from each other. You will find your true self within or after you’re graduated from UWC. The legacy will live with you for the rest of your life, you will be a​ ​part of a world family. You should not apply because of your academic ambition, but apply because you want to be a part of the journey and promote peace through education.
